Ever wanted a wine that tastes like a beer? Or a beer that tastes like a wine? Have the best of both worlds with a hybrid grape beer.... find out more in our latest video.

I love the beer/wine hybrids. The Bruery in Placentia makes some great one. I just made a Stout, and just for the heck of it, i poured a bit in a glass added about 40% of that volume with a Port wine. It tasted great. i am not a fan of bitter beers, this simple mix was an easy test. i need to long term age some. i may even add a bit of Merlot into the mix and see how that goes. I have not done any co-fermenting yet.

There is an English drink they call Black Velvet that is ½ Guinness and ½ Champagne. At least, that was what I was told by someone from across the pond. It is a combination that I really like. Sweet, sour, and bubbles for days.

It's called a Viere. I make wine and have often dumped a bottle of my homemade wine in my Saison at packaging, because why wouldn't you. Adds another layer
