New brewer from BC Canada

Hello I am a first timer 46 years old and have always been interested in home brewing.I started my first batch on the 3rd of December.I started with a can but am hopeing to get into boiling the mash.

Hey Oldford,

Good luck with your first brew.  When you move into mashing, or steeping crushed malt in you next brew, you'll probably sense a real difference in body and taste.  Post at Beersmith what you're interested in doing and I am sure you'll get some great advice for the types of grain, steeping temps and time.
