How do I have to properly create entries (misc ingredients) for hydrochloric acid (HCl) and sulfuric acid (H2SO4), so that the water agent correctly calculates the effects of this acids on the mash pH and on the chloride-sulphate ratio?

You can create the items in the misc inventory, but if the model the program uses does not recognize or have those materials in the calculations, which I highly suspect that it does not, then they will not be used for estimation of pH or acid requirements.

Thank you. That sounds like a small flaw in BS3.

Is the use of HCl and H2SO4 so exceptional in the US? In Germany, those two acids are almost as much used as lactic acid or phosphoric acid, because they allow not only to reduce the residual alkalinity but also to adjust the chloride-sulfate ratio in one step.
