Whole Leaf vs. Pellet Hops

I've mainly used pelletized hops for my brew. I was thinking about experimenting with leaf hops. I thought I could edit one of my current recipes in BeerSmith, (changing pellets for leaf), but noticed there was no change in % alpha acids in doing so. Can that be right?
 
You can manually define your AA% (determine from the label on the hop package you receive) as you add hops...or you can click on the item in the recipe and adjust it there.  The adjustment for pellet vs leaf utilization is in options, bitterness and you can set it to what you deem appropriate.
