Yeast amounts need to be in grams, mills, oz.

Within Options, you have controls over expected cell counts.
Options > Yeast Starter

In the same window, you have the ability to choose how the calculations are presented.
Options > Units > Yeast Starter Vol; Yeast Units

With the options set, the yeast starter tool can report dry yeast and yeast slurry in the units chosen.

I'm sure you're asking to have these options continued into the recipe design and I agree. That tool is still limited. However, the data is still available.
