Ah, you had asked about the liquid yeast starter. For some reason, Brad decided to take out the starter option within the recipe for dry yeast. For the most part, it is often less expensive to just buy another packet of dry yeast instead of using a starter.
But, there is a way to trick the program and allow you to make a starter. Within the recipe, edit the yeast and change the type to 'liquid'. You will need to reset the cell count, as it defaults to 100 Billion per package. You will then have the ability to make a starter on the starter tab.
