Mayzerbrau

I am Mayzerbrau and I have been brewing since 1998.  I have lived around the country and brewed with different varieties of local water including Seattle, Knoxville, San Antonio, Wilmington, and Raleigh.  I a former member of the Cascade Brewers Guild in Seattle. I am currently a member of Wort City Brewers and have served on the board for 4 years.  I'm an all-grain brewer but I'm not afraid of extract kits.  I have won several gold medals in recent years and attribute it completely to proper water treatment and fermentation temperature control.  I'm an optimization engineer by trade and I apply the same concepts to my brewing.  I'm always trying to improve my process.  BeerSmith is a big part of that process.  I started out with Pro Mash many many years ago but switched to BeerSmith when it was obvious that Pro Mash was no longer supported. I have a modest home system with a cooler and a kettle on an outdoor burner.  I have recently been hired as Brewmaster for Tek Mountain Brewing. I live in the Raleigh, NC area (Clayton).

I should add the I also do software development and that I'm a debugging specialist.
