brew and primary same day on calendar

Hi,

Sorry if this has been answered before but I can't seem to find it. 

Is there a way to set the Primary fermentation to begin the same on the same calendar date as the Brew?  Or are they intentionally a day apart to account for a 24 hour grace period for fermentation to start?

It looks like an artifact of just the calendar. Brew Step reports all show fermentation time beginning on the same day as brewing. If you have multiple fermentation stages, you'll see primary is -1 day from what is on your report. Seems like it's just reminding you of what activity is happening on a given day.
