Version numbering
« on: February 25, 2014, 09:31:38 PM »

A simple enhancement request.

If the brewer changes the "version number" can you gray out the save button?  This will block users clicking the save button overwriting the original recipe.

That would be useful if the version number actually did anything.

What if it changed the beer name to include the version number at the end of the name.  That way, if you saved, you would have the old and new versions.

The way it works now.  If you increment the version number, then select "ok" button will prompt for a new file name.  It provides a default name+version number.  I've already messed up a few original recipes by changing the version number, modifying the recipe and then clicking "save" This action overwrote the original recipe without being prompted.

Perhaps, if you change the version number, add the same popup as the "ok" button.  This would mitigate some of the headache of overwriting a recipe.
