I have been brewing regularly for about three years now. I did however first start with cider (was in the FFA) back in the "day". I just purchased and installed Beer Smith Software and seem to be getting along with it ok so far. I usually prefer darker beers like stout and Belgian styles. First beer I brewed was a kit stout, second brew was an Irish red ale kit I altered with cinnamon and cider and oats (the red ale w/apples and oats is a staple now). Since those first two its been all grain every time. Any other Western New YAWKERS out there?
