Choosing Ingredients to lower price

B

BasementBrew

Hi guys, new here, but not to brewing. I've been doing 5 gallon batches for a little while now, and as an extract brewer I've been getting ingredient kits from different places online. What I want to do now is avoid those costs of them preparing those pricey kits and pick out my own stuff.

For example, I would like to buy several lbs of whole grains to steep, along with several lbs of malt extract at the same time, along with my yeast, corn sugar, hops, etc. Enough for 3 batches at a time (Or what my wallet can afford)....... ;)

I've been looking at www.morebeer.com for starters, prices look reasonable??  Can I get some suggestions?? Am I on the right track?

Thanks!

More Beer is good and so is Northern Brewer.

Do you have a local place close?  I get everytyhing in town.
