timer problem

I am having trouble with the timer. All of my recipes are extract with steeping grains. When I put the extract in the recipe it automatically pots it at an hour boil. The timer seems to think I need to boil the water for 1 hour before putting the extract in, though. Either in confused or the program is. Any help?

I found a work around from a post last fall. If I set the extract to a late addition at 60 minutes the timer works fine.
