A user on another forum posted a recipe in .xml file form and mentioned it was so peope using Beersmith could import it. Is this possible? I cannot figure it out..

Download the file to a directory.
Open BeerSmith
File > Open File
From the dropdown extension menu, select "Beer XML Files (*.xml)
Navigate to the directory with the xml recipe
Highlight File > Open

The recipe will show in a separate tab with the file name as the title. To keep the recipe handy, copy and paste it into a folder in the "My Recipes" tab.

More complete information can be found in BeerSmith help under Importing and Exporting Files.

Ahh thanks. I did look in the help files, but it didn't mention .xml or the dropdown menu.

I know you've answered this for me before but. How do I save the now open file to my recipe directory?  I see "Save as" shows it in some folder, I guess I  need to know how to move that to the My Recipes folder..  AHh nevermind, I remember now.. Cut and Paste.
