Morning peeps.

I've been plagued with below par fermentations recently (I suspect temperature fluctuations) so I've moved everything out to the shed in temp controlled fridges.

The question I have is that my first attempt at a Bohemian Pilsner suggests adding yeast nutrient at Primary 3 days. Do I take that as meaning I crack open the fermenter 3 days in or 3 days before racking to secondary and carrying out a Diacetyl rest? Confused.

Cheers

I would assume 3 days in, but that is odd since more yeast nutrients are added at the end of the boil.

I usually add some nutrient in the last 10 minutes of the boil. I don't get the point of adding it three days into primary.
