Hello Today, I am just taking the plunge and it's crazy how much I enjoy making beer. Planning my first BIAB now. Using Beersmith 2 as i go now. Any Suggestion or early wisdom please share. Have a 8 gallon Kettle plan on 3 gal size batches with a soon to make 5 gal igloo mash tun for all grain. Here in Redlands California.

Go bigger than 5 gallons on your mash tun, unless it's a cooler you already have.  Mine are 48 quart coolers (12 gallon) and I have two of them.  Every one that I know that started with a 5 gallon igloo cooler has wished they would have went bigger.  If you already have it, it will work for now.  However, if you're buying it, get at least a 48 quart cooler.  You won't regret it.
