It looks like the File\Data Recover Table capability is some sort of data recovery method.

Could you please describe this capability in more detail and its intended use.
When is the ‘copy’ of the table made – at program exit?
How many ‘backup’ of these tables do you maintain?
etc.

Hi,
By default BeerSmith keeps the last 7 uses (not in the same day) of each table in a copy on the disk.  You can "recover" any of these using the recover table command - for instance if you have a corrupt file for some reason or accidentally deleted an old recipe.    When doing this you have the option of saving off the current table (before restoration) to make sure you don't accidentally recover over something else important.

In practice this feature is intended to provide some additional safety to your data, but is seldom used.  It keeps complete copies of your old recipe and other files so you can recover them later on.

Cheers!
Brad
