I think it would be a worthy upgrade to the software to be able to not only have weight as the means for adjustment, but also have the option of selecting precentages for specific ingredients instead of having to either play with the weights, or do the math.  As an example lets say you want to make an American Pale Ale recipe, and say you want 5% crystal 60L, 3% Special Roast, 5% Light Munich, and 87% American 2-row. Then with the newer toolbar on top you  could set the gravity wanted, and allow the program to calculate the weights. :D

  Thanks for the suggestion - perhaps a new action much like the "Scale Recipe" command where you could set percentages and overall weight (or FG).  I suppose one could also do this for hops as well.
