Intuitive hopped extract inputs

I would like more intuitive hopped extract inputs.

Just having an input for Colour and Bitterness of the extract would seem to be enough.

E.g. Cooper Real Ale Colour - 230EBC,  Bitterness - 560IBU


If the program needs to calculate out an equivalent amount of hops to work internally then I don’t necessarily need to see it.

I agree,
  Per your other post, I'm thinking of going to a simplified system to specify the IBU contribution per unit of extract (over a given volume).  Still requires three numbers but it should be easier to set up a reasonable guess based on the equivalent style and then scale it from there.
