Hello Brewers. I am designing a recipe for an Imperial Stout. I have included 8% white wheat in the grain bill. My question is, should I still add 5% carpapils for the head or will the white wheat do enough to give the head some stamina? Thanks in advance for your input.

There's no need to add carapils to an IRS. The added proteins and body from that much wheat will be plenty. Wheat for head retention tends to be only 1% or so.
