qts per pound of grain

is there a way to set my qts of water per pound of grain to a default amount for all recipes.

Yes. Open your mash profile(s) and edit the infusion mash step.  You can change the water to grain ratio in this and save it.  Save the profile(s).  You will need to go back to any recipes you created with the old mash profile and change the mash profile within the recipe to match your new profile with the updated water to grain ratio.

Once this is changed in all your mash profiles, it will be the standard selected for your recipes and will only change if you go in and edit it again.
