A quick hi and thanks to everybody who makes this such a great site.
I'm from London but have lived in France for nearly 20 years now, great wine, great weather, just one thing missing....! There's not much choice here, industrial lager or super strong Belgian beer, and what I miss most is a hoppy session beer that's not going to knock me out for the rest of the week.
Anything worth doing is worth doing to excess, so brought a 20L Braumeister, planted some hops a couple of years ago, have brewed a dozen or so times, mainly hoppy IPA stuff, so far so good, looking forward to trying out as many recipes as possible.
Anyone in this part of the world - near Narbonne - who enjoys hops and brewing do please get in touch, the locals haven't quite grasped it yet!
