Good evening!
I am fairly new to brewing, and brand new to using beer smith. As a matter of fact i used the trial period to create my first recipe, and recently purchased the software.
My question is on what it recommends for carbonating the beer. First of all i keg, and typically what I do is once i load it into the keg i let it sit for 3-4 days at 20 psi as per my local homebrew store. From there i sample at day 3 and keep it under pressure until it seems right. Now with the software i see it says for my particular reciperessure/weight 12.54 PSI. Now is this telling me to let it sit under 12.54 PSI while it carbonates? Or is this the pressure it should be dispensed at? Is this the pressure it should carbonate at, and be dispensed at?
Thank you in advance for the clarification.
Cheers!
