hello everyone

here i have another question about these two ions. i have my water analysis and i have carbonate and bicarbonate. so when i want to create mi water profile in beersmith i have to plus both or i have to use just bicarbonate?

because beersmith just asks for bicarbonate.

also i have another question in my water analysis the carbonate and bicarbonate come in mmol/L and i think it is the same than mEq/L but  i want to get this in ppm, someone know to go from mmol/L to ppm for carbonate and carbonate?

i think for the bicarbonate i have multiply mmol/L for 61.2 to get PPM but i am not sure because i have 6,1 mmol/L of bicarbonate if you multiply 6,1 for 61,2 is 373.32ppm.

so other link in beersmith  recommended levels,25-50 mg/l for pale beers and 100-300 mg/l for darker beers.

i hope someone can help me thank you so much.
