Paw Paw fruit

How would one take frozen paw paw and reduce it  to an addition and how would one also determine the sg of said paw paws before adding to the primary.

How would you add the fruit.Frozen? to the boil? I was thinking adding frozen to fresh wort and wait or wait until secondary and transfer the beer on frozen fruit.
