Hello!!!
I'm putting together a black IPA recipe and I'm not sure which combination of hops to use. I think of using English lupins with characteristics spicy, earthy, resin, cedar, pine. What combination do you use?

my first Black IPA, which turned out very well, used:
1oz Centennial [18.7%] 60min
0.5oz Columbus/Tomahawk [15.4%] 30min
0.5oz Zythos [10.9%] 15min
1oz Citra [13.9%] Steep/whirlpool [or dry hop, your preference]
0.5oz Columbus/Tomahawk dry hop
0,5oz Zythos dry hop

the dry hops can be steep/whirlpool, up to you.
it seems that steep/whirl will add aroma and flavor [aroma will fade some due to primary activity it seems]
dry hopping adds more aroma but less flavor IMO

either way i loved it and it rated fairly highly on the cloud
