hi Brad!

After using BS for a couple years, i'd like to present some suggestions for the future versions:

1) on the tools -> refractometer screen (corrected density), include an option to input both OG and Refractometer read in "SG" units. Here in Brazil we are used to SG scales of density? not BRIX or PLATO :)... It is very strange to enter OG as SG but the refractometer reading as BRIX.
A better choice would be to include a combo box or radio buttons to select the desired "scale" we are using to inform the input parameters.

2) On the tool -> carbonation screen, the output sugar amount could also have the "table sugar" amount... not only DME or CORN sugar... A better choice would be to have a combo box where a could select any kind of priming sugar I want.

3) On the recipe screen, include an option do upload beer PICTURES so we could compare the estimated and real beer color.

4) On the recipe screen, when including grains, improve the "search" field to allow multiple words searches like: "weyer pils". In this case, the search would return all results containing the strings "weyer" AND "pils" simultaneously.

5) Include standard (user customized) beer recipe "templates". So, when starting an recipe, BS could automatically include ingredients/steps we always use, like: whirlfloc at 15min, immersion chiller, water, etc..., or even grains and hops.

Good suggestions.

This one is already part of the program, though it's hidden in plain sight.

If you create a basic recipe with all of your profiles and add some of your favorite ingredients (like base malt and yeast), you can then click "Set as Default" from the home toolbar. Follow the confirmations and you're all set!
