Hi guys,

Got a question, I was thinking about mixing the mash and recirculating the mash at the same time. On my homebrew setup I always had better results while recirculating.

What are your thoughts?

It entirely depends on your mash geometry, how you're mixing and what your flow velocity will be. If the mash bed is taller than it is wide, you could find yourself stuck pretty quickly.

I would advise that you look at how well you're milling your grain before adding a recirculation step. If the grain is milled correctly, you should get maximum extraction without too much effort.
