Hi Guys.
I'm a relativly new brewer. First batch was extract kit. Belgian trappist. Turned out pretty good. It's been in the keg for about a month, and is nearly empty.
Second batch was also an extract kit. A porter. In the Carboy 2 weeks so far.
I'm ready to switch to AG. After lots of reading, I thing I'm going to go with batch sparge technique. An Amber ale.
Just downloaded Beersmith, looks like it will be a big help. I'm sure I'll be in here asking lots of questions, as I move into AG.
I live in south Louisiana, love BBQ and Beer. I travel to Belgium 2x year, and really like the trappist beers.
I bought a keggerator, that will hold 3-4 5 gal cornies, and plan to have 3 different beers on hand.
Well, thats me as a brewer.
Layne
