Style selection not working

I'm trying to create a new recipe and when I look to find the style it's showing meads, I checked my settings and they are BJCP 2015.  This is possible operator error, but I'd appreciate advice on a fix.

Just to the right of the recipe name box is a dropdown where you can select the type of brew. Select the appropriate option and the style menu will display the styles fitting that category.
The Beersmith web site has a boatload of tutorials. This is a complex program that demands some knowledge of its use. The tutorials do a good job of explaining most functions. There is a learning curve but, in the end, it's well worth the effort.
