Kinda sucks that it's not built in, but with the massive amount of different malts, yeast, hops, etc and all the variations, I imagine it would be a full time job just keeping up to date with all that. I've found that the software is pretty easy to add things when they aren't there and thats good enough for me. Generally you can find all the info you need with a quick search on the manufacturers website or elsewhere.
