Stc-1000
« on: September 22, 2020, 03:54:02 AM »
Hello, i bought equipment with 24V stc-1000 installed. The name plate on the stc-1000 indicates 24Vdc supply voltage. However, the previous owner used 24Vac. From my google attempts it seems that 12V and 24V stc-1000's can accept ac or dc voltage. Can someone verify this?

I found mixed info and seems to depend on who the "manufacturer" (Not sure there are more than 1) is. Different listings on Amazon say different things. One did show 12vdc.

Control enguneer opened one and looked at the stc

It can take Ac or dc

Has a full wave rectifier on input, so will also protect against reverse polarity of using dc
