Trying to find a good mini fridge for a kegerator
« on: October 06, 2020, 09:19:22 AM »
I have been searching around the past few weeks for a fridge to turn into a kegerator. I was looking at the Danby DAR033A6BSLDB 3.3 cu ft mini-fridge. I also found a magic chef 5 cu ft chest freezer. Has anyone used this fridge/freezer before? I really like that there is no freezer and the cooling is in the back. I only have one keg and will be using only one keg for a while so I am not too worried about being small. If anyone has any suggestions it would be greatly appreciated!

I use a 7 cu ft chest freezer with a wooden collar. Holds 4 ball lock kegs and I believe I could get one or maybe two pin lock kegs on the hump. A temperature control unit holds the temp where I like it. I found the freezer for sale locally for under $100.
