hi guys, i need your help:

today was one of those days where i basically just chucked the hops into the kettle sort of randomly. well, turns out that the bitterness ratio is at 1.7. is this going to be a terrible beer? is there anything i can do about it in primary?

 OG was 1060 probably going to end up a 6,2% ABV

As long as your hops were reasonably fresh, you should be fine. The IBUs don't really matter, but pH can change the perception of harshness. If you make sure the beer is <4.4 pH down to 4.0 pH, it'll be smoother.

Was this a empty out the hop fridge brew?   ;)  Should be ok, but it's going to have massive hop burn.  If you keg, I recommend letting it sit for several weeks to help all the hop particles drop to the bottom of keg.   A Double IPA ratio is around 1.33, so while you are high, you are not that far out of range.
