Import ingredients, mash profiles and styles
« on: November 13, 2021, 08:52:47 AM »
I just added BS3 to a second computer. I cannot find a way to import custom ingredients, mash profiles or my custom made style guidelines. The guidelines are the biggest issue because I have a lot of them.

Probably the fastest way would be to go to "file/full backup to zip file" on your older computer and save the file to your desktop. Attach it to an email and send it to yourself.

Open the email on the new computer and download the file to the desktop. Open BeerSmith and go to "file/full recover from zip" Enter the locatation of the backup when prompted and it will put all the data into BeerSmith on the new computer.

Thanks Bob. I previously tried the export option but the full backup to zip did the trick.
