elevation correction to force carbonation PSI values

Since BrewSmith has a spot to enter your elevation in order to determine the boiling point of your wort, why doesn't it use that value to correct the suggested CO2 PSI level for force carbonation to a desired CO2 volume?  I've read you need to add 1 PSI for every 1000 feet of elevation. It would be handy if this was done automatically.
