Yeast starter and pressure fermentation

Going to do my first pressure fermentation with a lager.  My question is can the yeast starter be made at room temperature or does it need to be done at lager temperatures?
 
Always best to do starters at room temperature. Even if you're fermenting a lager in the 50s.
