I have the water quality report from the city water and it does not list magnesium as one of the compounds, only manganese. How is it different? I figured out the others finally.

  Maganese and Magnesium are two different elements. Look here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Manganese

Thanks but since I'm not a chemist, how do I account for it in the water profile of Beersmith for my particular city water profile? It sounds like it is toxic, so why would it be in drinking water?
