Locking grain amounts to batch size/efficiency?

T

THE_DRUNK_ARAB

Hi all, I have a recipe for a US 5 gallon/19 litre batch of beer that I want to scale up to 23 litres. Is there a way to do this where the amount of grain used will be automatically updated whilst maintaining the efficiency?

Try the "Scale Recipe" command.  Just make sure you set the boil volume appropriately as well as you scale things up.

Its best to use equipment settings if possible since this also updates all of your water needed calculations - define a new set of equipment in the equipment database for your new size and then choose it in the "Scale Recipe" dialog.

Cheers!

Thanks for that Brad, so easy to do.
