Can I eliminate chill haze

D

Daniel

Hi pals, I wanna know if its posible to eliminate chill haze, I ussually use irish moss but chill haze is always there. Txs

Daniel,
I personally like polyclar.  You add it a few days before bottling and it does a great job of clearing chill haze.

Another good trick if you have already bottled or kegged is to cold-store your beer.  The chill haze will fade over time if you store it in the refrigerator.

Cheers!
Brad

If I coldmy beer, howlong andwich range of temperature, Must I add more yeast, because I only can priming.

If you have bottled an ale, then store it for the first two weeks or so near room temperature so it can carbonate properly.

Next put it in the fridge at around 42 degrees or so.  It will take some time (a month or more) but you will notice a significant drop in chill haze.

Of course, you can save a lot of time by using polyclar.

Cheers!
Brad

Brad,

Does the PolyClar have much affect of flavor?
I've brewed the Sweetwater 420 clone recipe several times and twice its developed chill haze.
Pretty consistent flavor and body, but chill haze with this batch so I'm looking to use something to prevent the haze but do not want to have an adverse effect on the flavor.
Thanks.
Bob G.
