I'm looking at a kit that has this instructions from ProMash http://legacy.northernbrewer.com/promash/1743_.html and trying to translate into BeerSmith. This is what I have:

2 min Mash Ingredients
Mash In: Add 11.25 qt of water at 161.4 F
75 min - Hold mash at 150.0 F for 75 min
--  Batch Sparge Round 1: Sparge with 1.60 gal of 168.0 F water.
--  Batch Sparge Round 2: Sparge with 3.33 gal of 168.0 F water.

What I don't understand is, where am I actually draining? Do I drain after the first 75 minutes but prior to batch sparge 1? Or do I add batch sparge 1 (mix I assume) then drain, add batch sparge 2 and drain again?

You would drain your mash first, and then do two sparges.

If you were to add your first sparge before draining, it is not a sparge, but a mashout.
