My computer has been acting very slowly lately. Norton Security sees nothing wrong, but strange things are happening. I've decided to "burn down the mission" and reformat "C:". I've saved my registration key, but will I lose my data? I would hate to lose all the recipes I've used over the past two years. Help!

If you can, run BeerSmith and use the Export command on the File menu to export your recipes to a file and save it off.  You can also go to the other views (Hops, Grains, etc) if you want to save off custom grains there.

I grabbed all my recipes and exported them to a flash drive. They appeared as recipes.bsm (588kb). Must be something in there. After reinstalling BeerSmith, I'll import the .bsm file and see what happens.
Thanks for the quick reply.
