I did actually include a price per unit in the underlying data schema. The challenge, of course, is that the prices are all different especially when you include the different currency possibilities worldwide.
However, I am considering enabling those features - particularly for a future version. In the long term it would be great to have price lists for individual suppliers as well, and it might be a possibility once I have the full XML data capability implemented.
Realistically this will probably not occur until after I finish the current release.
