Do big Belgians age as well as Big Barleywines and Old Ales?  I'm trying to stock my homebrew cellar with some beers that can sit for a bit.  I've got a x-mas ale that I intent to age until next year as well as a Barleywine but I still have some room.  I'd like to explore the world of Belgian beer as I'm normally an American and English Ale kind of guy.  I'm also not a huge fan of having big beers on tap so if those big Belgians need to be had fresh they might not be for me

thanks in advance

I think so.  Belgians tend to be malty and yeast-driven, rather than hop oriented, so they change over time, and the bigger ones usually hold up well.  I know lots of people that store Chimay and others for years and pull them out and do verticals.
