The two bulkhead flange parts are high chrome SST half inch thick 3x2"
Pretty shiny metal thingies

Here they are cleaned up brazed together and ready for acid passivation

It's ready to bolt onto my brew Kettle

Why on god's green earth did I want a Rotating Racking Dip Tube for a brew pot??

I'm so glad you asked.

After  I muck the glim, whirlpool, and chill the wort  I get the trub, hopdebris and trubbycrap  in the bottom of my BK where I want it to stay.
I don't want that crap in my beer.

The idea is to siphon wort off from different places in the water column. Higher up the flow across the cold break material and trub won't suck it along with the wort. As the wort gets lower I can rotate it down to draw from near the bottom of the kettle.

This is light years better than the gizmo that Blichmann sells to accomplish the the same thing coz his unit is a gizmo you gotta (a) put in your pot, and (b) jam instruments into the cooled wort to manipulate . I think it sucks.

Here it is on the kettle

It works great.
I've found that petroleum jelly or mineral oil on a Buna-N gasket is way far better than a PTFE gasket for the rotary seal.
It seals better and slides easier.
