Introduction from Tapabarrel

Hello from Bath Maine.
I have been a home brewer for many years - started with the Beer Machine and plastic buckets.  Now brewing extract amber ales and am very pleased with the results I am getting.
I also have a spare 2 1/2 gallon keg and am looking for half-size recipes in order to make use of that.  Does anybody have any experience of converting a recipe to half size?  Maybe I could use it for a barleywine (or similar).

Of course.... Take any recipe you can find, and use the "SCALE" recipe tab on the toolbar. Third one from the left , just above the recipe view. Works like a charm.

scaling works to a degree but recipes need tweaking. You should expect a little trial and error to figure out what works best on your own system.  Scaling down I usually expect to change the hop amounts (less) or even change the hops.
