Long time mead brewer, dabble in ciders, brand new to beer.
Hope to pick up a LOT of advice and knowledge.
Probably my first question is that normally most recipes I see are for 5 gallons, I see BrewSmith can "resize" your batches, but not positive if its a true conversion. As a newb, I'm generally following recipes to the letter until I learn more.
Not big into the really bitter beers, and for me most of that Budweiser makes is off my list. I'm keen on reds, malts are good.
Picked up Joy of Home Brewing 3rd, reading that now.
