Dallas, TX first round with a hand me down
« on: January 13, 2011, 07:44:37 PM »
Hello all,
This is the beginning of my home brew journey.  I was handed down old home brew equipment from my dad when home with my family visiting "Grandma, and Grandpa" over Thanksgiving.  He figured now that my kids are older than infants I might have some time to fiddle with it.  He knows I love to cook and brewing beer to go with that food seems a natural progression don't you think?  Anyway, I have a Nut Brown Ale we hope to sample for the Super Bowl down here.  It will not be optimal but we will do all we can to limit the consumption of this batch so that we can taste it when it has really had a time to rest and age.  Glad to have found this forum.
