Taking a keg to a party?

Just wondering how well corny kegs travel?  I'd like to take one to a party with me and share some of the fun with friends...but, I'm worried that it'll just foam the whole night.

So, will they travel?  How long to rest before pouring?  And any special instructions? (Ie.  disconnect co2, vent before moving, etc)

Travel great!  Stirs up all the stuff in the bottom and makes it all cloudy again.  Needs a couple of hours in ice (fits in a 10g igloo nicely) to get it to settle but can still be cloudy.  I do disconnect CO2 tank but don't vent or anything special.  Serve it in red plastic cup and hardly anyone notices ;D  ;D
