One of the more important things I look at when creating a recipe is the amount of an item I have in stock. Unfortunately BeerSmith has the quantity column many columns off to the side so it is not visible unless you shrink the other columns. I have not found how organize or edit the columns and their width is not memorized when the window is closed. I would love to put the quantity right after the ingredient name. I don't want a column always visible and taking up space that tells me Marris Otter is a grain and that Pilsen LME is an extract.
UPDATE: I posted a similar wish on another forum pointed out that this could already be done. I just had to right click up in the header area to customize my columns.
