New to brewing with you experts, have tried a porter once and I would like to clone a Goose Island 312. Have read all the posts and have the recipe in hand. My question is where is the best place to get grains and hops? Looked for 5lbs of Pilsner (2row) Ger (2.0 SRM), not sure if this is one type of grain or two. Any help will be met with a hardy Cheers!!

Nice to have you here....

5lbs of Pilsner (2row) Ger (2.0 SRM).... means 2 row Pilsner malt (as opposed to six row) from Germany and a color of 2 srm (a unit of color).
So, it's One malt (Pilsner).

I don't know how important it would be to use this particular grain as opposed to a generic Pilsner malt, they will all be 2 row likely anyway.

Maybe some will differ on opinion, but that's what this forum is all about!

Best of luck, and let us know how it turns out!
